Course description 

This professional development seminar will be in two parts, and is suitable for all levels of experience with NavCad. All participants will receive a course packet with the seminar curriculum, as well as a variety of reports and resources.

We begin with a general discussion of fundamental principles of resistance and propulsion, then build an understanding of more advanced concepts (such as dynamic performance), and continue on the second day with general training in using NavCad effectively - including the newest features and capabilities of NavCad 2004 . At the conclusion of the seminar, there will be ample time for participants to present and discuss some of their current projects.

Refreshment breaks and boxed lunch are provided each day.

Schedule

The training seminar takes place on June 17th and 18th, 8:30a to 5:00p each day. To ensure personal attention, this seminar has been limited to twenty participants . Contact us early to reserve your place.

Location

The training will be held at the Hampton Inn Southcenter in Seattle, WA. This conference facility provides hotel, wireless meeting room and convenient, free airport shuttle service. More information about the Seattle area may be found on www.seattle.com.

The Hampton Inn Southcenter is located on 7200 South 156th Street, Tukwila, Washington. Hotel accommodations can be made directly with the "Hampton Inn Southcenter" via phone or fax. Transportation
 
Major airline service is available through the Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Courtesy shuttles from the airport to the hotel are provided by the Hampton Inn. Private transportation may be arranged independently.

Prerequisites

Attendees will need only a basic knowledge of the operation of NavCad. We highly encourage every attendee to bring a notebook computer with NavCad already installed. Also, don't forget your security key.

Cost

The cost of the seminar is $795.00, with discounts available for additional company members. A 50% deposit is required before June 8 to reserve your place, with the balance paid-in-full before the seminar. (The deposit is non-refundable after June 8.)
