Fundamentals of Resistance & Propulsion (with NavCad)
Mark your calendars for June 17-18!!
Join us for a 2-day NavCad Training Seminar - Fundamentals of Resistance and Propulsion (with NavCad) - in Seattle, Washington, USA on Thursday and Friday, June 17-18. The cost of the seminar is $795.00, with discounts available for additional company members.
Course description
This professional development seminar will be in two parts, and is suitable for all levels of experience with NavCad. All participants will receive a course packet with the seminar curriculum, as well as a variety of reports and resources.
We begin with a general discussion of fundamental principles of resistance and propulsion, then build an understanding of more advanced concepts (such as dynamic performance), and continue on the second day with general training in using NavCad effectively - including the newest features and capabilities of NavCad 2004 . At the conclusion of the seminar, there will be ample time for participants to present and discuss some of their current projects.
Refreshment breaks and boxed lunch are provided each day.
About the presenter
Conducted by Don MacPherson, HydroComp's Technical Director, our professional development seminars are an outstanding value. You will leave with a solid understanding of the new NavCad 2004 and its underlying hydrodynamic principles, and be better able to conduct successful studies for your clients and customers. These two days will help you not only minimize the risk of inaccurate speed and power prediction, but you will learn how to analyze a project and be in a position to provide reliable answers.
